Clarke gets thrown in jail when she unknowingly helps a con artist rip off store manager Bellamy. She gets paroled early after she puts out a blaze (which she had started herself) in the prison shop. She goes back to Bellamy to make amends and ends up falling in love with him. Problems arise when the store manager's wife gets out of prison.
