An ex-con is nearly accused of a murder he did not commit when he spends the evening with a dead man's wife. As he is about to be arrested, the woman (Massari) reveals to police that she drugged her husband in an attempt to make it appear to be suicide, then picked up a stranger (Hossein)
who would, unfortunately, take the rap for her murder. Delerue contributes an excellent score.
