A wealthy Texan (Crosby) travels to Europe because he is infatuated with an aristocrat (Ross). However, as he spends time in her home, he comes across a pretty girl who is not part of the social scene (Gaal). Crosby comes to prefer the angelic peasant girl to the cultured Ross, leading
