Yves Robert, the director responsible for THE TALL BLONDE MAN WITH ONE BLACK SHOE and its sequel, struck again with this pleasant, enjoyable mixture of comedy and drama about husbands and their affairs. Etienne (Jean Rochefort) is a Parisian civil servant who, while in his company parking lot, gazes at the bright red dress of a pretty young woman (Anny Duperey) as it is blown up above her waist by a rush of air. Although he is happily married to Marthe (Daniele Delorme, wife of director Robert) and has never even thought of having an affair, Etienne becomes enamored of this mystery woman.
