Merle Oberon plays a schoolteacher who inherits a chateau in Cannes in this predictable comedy. She arrives in France ready to take over the chateau and has some fun with the money left over. But the chateau is inhabited by a group of squatters led by Paul Henreid. It's not too hard to predict what happens: Oberon falls for Henreid and permits the squatters to stay. leave a comment
