Lewis plays a spoiled New York millionaire who becomes the town sheriff, while Martin plays a ranch foreman in this musical western spoof of Bing Crosby's 1936 film, RHYTHM ON THE RANGE. Both Lewis and Martin continually play for laughs, with Martin as straight man. As Lewis loses his fear
of the West, he teams with Martin to rid the town of the bad guys. While getting rid of the heavies, Lewis is romanced by Loughery; Nelson does the same with Martin.
