Paper Lion: Review
Alan Alda
made his screen debut in this amusing, occasionally insightful adaptation of one of the several articles writer
George Plimpton
wrote for
Sports Illustrated
in 1966, in which he wittly described his fristhand experiences in professional sports. Alda plays Plimpton, who here tries to pass himself off as a real free-agent quarterback for the Detriot Lions.
