This is a better-than-average thriller, the first release from the Kozinsky Brothers (also known as the King Brothers), after a failed deal with Cecil B. DeMille. The film was made efficiently, completed in six days on a $30,000 budget. Woodbury is a woman forced to go to jail after taking the rap for a wealthy playboy's hit-and-run accident. She discovers the real driver's identity and vows vengeance on his father. It turns out the man is a political reformer whose career is ruined when Woodbury gets him involved in racketeering.
