A hollow crime melodrama about a Swiss woman, Gray, who works for a London diamond merchant and becomes inadvertently involved with her boy friend's scheme to exploit her boss. Her boy friend, Lovell, sends two of his friends to the merchant as German jewelers, but they are found out, the boss is killed, and Gray is knocked out. She wakes up with amnesia and begins wandering around London. Lovell is frantically searching for her, thinking that she's gone to the police. A boxer, Houston, takes Gray in and decides to go back to the ring to earn the money to get Gray out of the country. Lovell finally tracks Gray down after the fight and begins to beat up the tired Houston, so Gray shoots her boy friend dead. leave a comment
