Mount is the focus of this picture as a domineering mother who has to be in control of every last detail of her daughter's wedding, including where she will live. Mount's control of her family's life eventually costs her daughter her marriage as the sailor (Lewis) leaves the bride at the altar. The strained comedy didn't carry over well from stage to screen. leave a comment
