Cameron gives a fine portrayal of a retired gunman who straps on his six-shooter once more to revenge his brother's death. Hadley is the murderer who wants to control the entire territory. Hadley is gunned down by the hero and loses his secretary to Cameron as well. A secretary in a Western? Who works for the bad guy, no less? Gwynne's lively portrayal makes the character believable and funny but then again the production team on this B flick was a cut above most. The freshness and ingenuity are the work of none other than Blake Edwards, who served as co-producer and co-writer on this, his first film.
