Twelvetrees plays a showgirl mixed up with a gangster. To avoid going to jail, she accepts a job as a housekeeper for Bickford, a local businessman. After her boy friend (Armstrong) returns from supposedly being lost in an air accident, she finds out that he is merely using her to get to the rich man's money.
