Pallet On The Floor

Set in a small New Zealand coastal village in 1966, PALLET ON THE FLOOR concerns two married couples, a hushed-up murder, and the arrival of a British aristocrat who solves their problems in a rather unorthodox manner. O'Brien, the Maori wife of McCauley, was once attacked (while pregnant) by truck driver Bach. Fists began to fly; when the dust cleared, Bach was dead. His brother, Napier, seeks revenge by trying unsuccessfully to disrupt McCauley and O'Brien also ends up dead.
