Roy Rogers named this as his favorite of all his films, and one can see why. It's well plotted, with lively direction and much better camera work than most of the Singing Cowboy's films. Rogers plays a horse trader planning to mate a prize mare with a stallion belonging to his pal Gabby Kendrick (Gabby Hayes).
