An entry in Republic's "Three Mesquiteers" series and the second to feature Wayne. This is more of a modern western, with the Mesquiteers protecting a Greyhound bus, of all things. It's carrying some gold that eventually ends up in an airplane. Hijackers are after the cargo, but Wayne and
company defeat them handily. The action, though routine, is well handled with a good sense of fun and excitement. Brooks plays Wayne's girl friend in what would be her last film--a sad comedown for the actress who had starred in the German masterpiece PANDORA'S BOX (1929).
