Over The Summer

This sweet, often painfully honest coming-of-age film centers on Tina (Laura Hunt), a 16-year-old from Atlanta who is reluctantly spending the summer on a farm with her grandparents (Willard Miller and Geneva Hiergesell). Tina is uncomfortable with the arrangement because her grandfather, a rather odd old man, shows incestual interest in his granddaughter. Rose (Catherine Williams), Tina's best friend, quickly becomes a confidante, though she is plagued with troubles of her own.
