Moore plays a photographer who begins at the bottom and works her way to the top of her field. Greenleaf, an alcoholic photographer, teaches her the trade. Once she hits the big city, she takes up with Crenna, a newspaper reporter. She also meets Elsom, a rich widow who likes the young
woman's work. OVER-EXPOSED starts off well when Moore is learning her craft. However, once she hits the big time, the script has nothing left to say. Moore, who is best known as Hugo Haas' leading lady in various spectacles, is passable, but Crenna is an utter bore. The direction shows occasional
flashes of intelligence but is mostly plodding and lifeless.
