A ghoulish, now familiar urban legend once again serves as the basis for a rather routine thriller. David Morales (Mario Lopez, who also served as co-producer) is a Mexican-American college student attending a San Diego, Calif., university on an athletic scholarship a meal ticket he loses when he's cut from the soccer team because of an injured knee.
