Hauer and de Gooyer are a pair of plainclothes Dutch cops who, like the filmmakers, have seen too many episodes of American TV cop shows. They go on the beat cracking drug rings, putting straight sickly addicts, and trying to put a lid on the freakish sex trade which seems to overpower the
entire city of Amsterdam. Of interest only for Hauer, who has begun to rise in popularity since his wonderful role in BLADERUNNER. (In Dutch; English subtitles.)
