Holt is hired by the government to investigate reports that a counterfeiting operation is peddling phony bills through a gambling boat. When a murder occurs on board, the ship's owner (Ciannelli) steers it out to sea, safely beyond the three-mile limit. A mutiny changes the captain's
plans, making way for Holt to break up the ring. Clearly a cranked-out piece, this film seems to have been inspired by an attempt by Federal authorities to board gambling ships operating off the California coast in 1939.
