Ryan is the daughter of an outlaw who she believes was killed by marshal Davis. Even though she's romantically interested in Davis, she chooses the criminal life and runs with Williams' gang. The marshal tracks down the gang and kills everyone except Ryan. He then tells her that it was actually Williams who killed her father.
