Charming, offbeat, if rather slight comedy written by Taylor and Bologna and starring them as two perennial losers who meet and fall in love at a group-therapy session. They then struggle to make a go of the relationship. Semi-autobiographical (Taylor and Bologna are married in real life),
the film is moving, human, and real, with a fine touch of romance. The underrated Bologna again shows a wonderful comic talent. Shot in New York City, this watchable little film is very much of its period.
