In this Mexican version of the Frankenstein story, Dr. Frankenstein (Soler) is sprung from jail by ex-convict Cordero, who wants to use Soler's monster (also played by Cordero) to exact revenge from all the people responsible for his incarceration. The monster's face melts when the doctor
revives him with 100,000 electrical volts, forcing the creature to wear a metal can on his head. The film ends with the monster walking off with Cordero's love, Dorantes. Director Baledon, a Mexican matinee idol in the 1940s, was famous for filming remakes of American movies, including Ford's MY
DARLING CLEMENTINE, which was retitled MI ADORADA CLEMENTINA.
