Funnier than BASEKETBALL, but then, most movies are. Trey Parker (half of the creative team behind the very funny animated series "South Park" and BASEKETBALL's costar) wrote, directed and stars as Joe Young, an eager young Mormon who, while doing his door-to-door missionary work amid the fleshpots of L.A., knocks on the front door of porn impresario Maxxx Orbison (Michael Dean Jacobs). After watching Joe pull some smooth kung-fu moves on the beefy security guards, Maxxx has a flash of inspiration: Joe's the perfect guy to play porn superhero Orgazmo. Aided by faithful sidekick Choda Boy (Dian Bachar), who's armed with a utility belt full of marital aids, Orgazmo rescues various bound and bikinied porn starlets by debilitating oversexed villains (including real-life porn stalwart Ron Jeremy) with his orgasm-inducing orgazmorator. Twenty thousand dollars later -- plus the promise that pious Joe won't actually have to "perform" (thanks to a stunt man who'll step in just before Orgazmo's silver codpiece comes off) -- Joe Young is rechristened Tom Hung, and a porn star is born. The plot is a better setup for a raunchy one-liner than a 90-minute comedy, so Parker adds an even sillier subplot involving a hip-hop sushi chef (Masao "Maki" San) who's being strong-armed into selling his restaurant to the thugs next door: It's Orgazmo to the rescue. Potty-mouthed old ladies, fart jokes, an obese woman jiggling in a g-string, a naked mariachi band, Ron Jeremy jiggling in a g-string: it's all pretty tasteless, but surprisingly chaste and not very funny. And any expectations of something naughtier than a infantile spoof are rudely rewarded with a recurring visual gag: Each time a starlet is about to remove her top, the hairy butt of her male costar fills the screen.
