Oregon Passage

A routine western with Ericson wanting to capture an Indian chief and finding that he must battle more with his commander, Platt. Platt thinks that Ericson has had an affair with his wife, Albright, years ago, and this affects Platt's decisionmaking. After two cavalry patrols are wiped out, Albright is captured by Indians. Platt goes after her and both of them are killed. Ericson organizes his men, repels an attack on the fort, and kills the Indian chief in hand-to-hand combat.
