Dino De Laurentiis' attempt to cash in on the popularity of JAWS is a total failure. Harris is a whaler who makes the mistake of killing the pregnant mate of a killer whale. The whale takes his revenge on everyone and everything associated with Harris Of course, the good captain begins
behaving like a modern-day Ahab and becomes obsessed with killing the whale, which leads to a rather laughable standoff on an ice floe. The only reason to sit through this is to see the part where Bo Derek, who has a broken leg, has it bitten off--cast and all--by the whale.
