Story depicts a true incident in which the US Air Force saved cattle and sheep herds threatened with starvation when crippling blizzards struck Nevada in January of 1949. Intertwined with the rescue story is the tale of two brothers, Williams and Brown, ranchers who stand to be ruined by the disaster.
