Only Once In A Lifetime

Dull, predictable story of a Mexican-American artist who has given up on life since his wife died and whose only friend is an old dog. He won't paint in the style that will get him some buyers and avoids a Chicano teacher who's taken a liking to him. He finally comes to his senses and manages to change his lifestyle and begin a relationship with the schoolteacher.
