Kellie Martin, Mystery Woman
On Saturday, Aug. 19, at 9 pm/ET, Hallmark Channel presents "Oh, Baby," the latest in a string of installments in its Mystery Woman movie series, starring ER/Life Goes On alum Kellie Martin as Samantha Kinsey, a bookstore owner who cracks police cases as often as she cracks open Dickens. This time around, Samantha's left holding the bag — actually, a baby — when a stranger flits in and out of her store. A timely twist, as Martin is expecting her own firstborn shortly. TVGuide.com spoke to the actress about her crime-solving, her baby-to-be and what it's like to kill

So You Think You Can Dance's Dmitry Chaplin and Martha Nichols
A week after their shared birthday (July 14), So You Think You Can Dancers Dmitry Chaplin, 24, and Martha Nichols, 19, were dismissed from the stage. But not before executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe gave them something to look forward to: Plans are in the works for a tour of the top 10 dancers, à la American Idol. The morning after their elimination, TVGuide.com caught up with the oft-shirtless Latin

Rock Star: Supernova host Brooke Burke
The competition is heating up on CBS' Rock Star: Supernova (Tuesdays at 9/Wednesdays at 8 pm/ET), and it's in large part due to the Dionysian dames vying for dibs on joining the new group founded by Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted and Gilby Clarke. Might a gal actually grab the Season 2 prize? Catching up with cohost Brooke Burke at a mock protest rally on behalf of NoScruf.org (a Gillette promotional event), TVGuide.com asked the brunette beauty about the lady Rockers' chances, her own Wild partying days and what it's like to be dressed by a paintbrush.
TVGuide.com: As you can see, I purposely shaved this morning in preparation for interviewing you.
Brooke Burke: I'm

Question: Could you devote your whole column to just Gilmore Girls spoilers, like you did with Lost a while back?
Answer: What's in it for me? If one scoop gets me a rare Smurf, then a whole column's worth of scoop should net me at least two cases of Snapple delivered to TV Guide's New York headquarters c/o me. You mull that over while I put the finishing touches on my exclusive interview with Amy Sherman-Palladino, which I may decide to run in this Friday's Ausiello Report.

C.Thomas Howell on 24
If C. Thomas Howell's recent MIA status frustrates those who've had to rely on the USA network to air such memorable '80s fare as The Outsiders, Red Dawn and Soul Man, fear not. The drought has ended. During tonight's two-hour 24 "event" (starting at 8 pm/ET), the former Greaser makes his first of a handful of appearances as Barry Landes, a therapist whose ties to Jack Bauer are, shall we say, "complicated." As a result of this casting coup, longtime fans can finally allow their obsession to continue into the 21st century. As TVGuide.com uncovered in our interview with Howell, there's a lot more to him than what all those "Stay gold, Pony!" lobbyists would like us to believe. For starters, he

Travis Stork, The Bachelor
Skating with Celebrities Why is it that I saw more falls during the recent Olympic ice-dancing competition than during the entire season of Skating with Celebrities? I don't care if the Torino routines were technically and artistically more difficult — it's just not right. And speaking of the recent global games, I was so out of the loop. I had no idea that Sir CrankyPants was actually Sasha Cohen's coach. Plus, I had no clue that Jillian's partner, John Zimmerman, was married to Italian Olympic skater Silvia Fontana. But back to business. Much like Sunday night's inflated Dancing with the Stars finale, this baby could have been wrapped up in about 20 minutes. But no, the show insisted on parading all the eliminated contestants and their partners back for a couple more rounds of free-skatin' fille

Question: I was wondering what you've thought of Bones' performance in its new time slot. The ratings have gone up each of the last three weeks and are well above its Tuesday-night performance, but I have a feeling Fox was hoping for numbers like House got last year when it followed American Idol. I think Bones has done remarkably well, considering its ultracompetitive time slot against Lost and Criminal Minds. What do you think of the show's ratings performance, and what do you think Fox thinks of it? The episodes have been great as well. I think this show is starting to reveal itself as a growing series with a bright future and is emerging as the best show of the 2005-06 class.
Answer: Well, let's say one of the best shows of the freshman class, anyway, and certainly Fox's best new show of the season. As for the ratings, I'm with you. The show may not be scoring House numbers, but House doesn't face Lost. Bones is high-quality entertainment and is holding its own, and I don't think

Andy Griffith, The Andy Griffith Show
Question: I could swear Andy Taylor was a jack-of-all-trades and had several jobs on The Andy Griffith Show, but a coworker says I'm nuts and that he was always just the sheriff. Who's right? There's no bet riding on this, just pride. Thanks.
Answer: You've got a respectable memory there, Jim. (Don't get any ideas, though — there's only room for one Televisionary in this town.) Feel free to claim a good chunk of your office mate's pride because you're right on this one.
When The Andy Griffith Show first launched as a spin-off of The Danny Thomas Show and began its eight-year run on CBS in October 1960, Sheriff Andy Taylor (Matlock's Andy Griffith) not only enforced the law in Mayberry while raising you

SurfaceWow, not a good day to be an eerily attractive clone. You wake up in the morning, have a nice cup of coffee at your desk, and the next thing you know, you're hogtied with duct tape and crammed into the trunk of a Dodge Stratus. (And a big shout-out to Will Ferrell for making that the funniest car name in automotive history. "Don't talk about my Dodge Stratus!") It's enough to make a guy put a bullet in his own brain. No, wait, scratch that — it's enough to make a guy sit real still for a momentary misdirect before letting a hysterical Dr. Laura go. Meanwhile, Crazy-Eyed Rich gets busted in the Great Big Cryo-Lab of Doom, and Miles nearly gets himself tarred and feathered by an angry mob of townsfolk. Oh, sure, you electrocute one bully in the schoolyard and
