Predictable story has Cariou as a TV newsman involved in a story about a large factory that is polluting a poor section of the city and seriously endangering the lives of the children who live there. Cariou and his family are harassed by goons from the offending company, while his own bosses are loath to take any action for fear of stirring up problems with big business. A rare sense of concern about the problems posed makes this story more gripping than the usual social-conscience film. leave a comment
