Jack Corbett (Ken Wahl) is a down-on-his-luck journalist whose daughter is kidnaped by white supremacist fanatics. The kidnapers are trying to force the girl's doctor grandfather to kill an informer who is being kept under guard in the security wing of the hospital. Corbett, however, is not a man to be trifled with. He begins his own investigation with the help of an old buddy from Vietnam (George DiCenzo). While the action of this film is indistinguishable from a hundred others, at least this one has its heart in the right place. Rather than blowing up Third World nationalists, our heroes take on fascist creeps. Wahl does as good a job as can be expected with the material, while DiCenzo's wisecracking sidekick performance is even better. Mostly, though, the film is a bore, all talk and feeble action. leave a comment
