Though the video cover copy touts the appearance of Backstreet Boys A.J. Chavez and Brian Littrell (star Leighanne Littrell's husband), their fans will be disappointed by their brief cameos. Lonely Orlando, FL, pet-shop owner Keeler Davis (James Berlau) isn't interested in best-buddy DJ Dan's (Jay Love) dating advice. It's not that shy-guy Keeler doesn't know hot to have some fun with the occasional hottie like Shawna (Elizabeth Auten); it's just that he'd rather spend his time seeking a soul-mate. But when Miss Right finally enters his establishment to check out the cute doggies, it turns out she's already engaged. Keeler's dream girl, Michelle Malloy (Leighanne Littrell), is a graphic designer for a TV news show, a devoted daughter and the fiancee of a handsome lawyer named Matt (Michael Hartson). She's in to introduce Matt to her dying, hospitalized mother Helen (Ginger King), too blinded by love to realize that her soon-to-husband's frequent business trips are covers for a string of one-night stands. During a bedside chat with her prospective son-in-law, Helen senses that he's not what he seems, and Michelle begins questioning Matt's commitment and finds herself drawn to fellow animal-lover Keeler. With uncharacteristic boldness, Keeler courts Michelle and even accompanies her on an out-of-town pilgrimage to ask a favor of Helen's favorite cooking show host, Chef Nico (James Martin Kelly). Shortly after hearing Chef Nico mention her name on the air, Helen passes away. Will Michelle finally open her eyes and realize that she should spend the rest of her life with Keeler? This teen-magazine worthy romantic comedy evaporates as you watch it; the soap-opera subtext about a fatally ill mother doesn't add dramatic weight, and the stars aren't especially engaging. The title alludes to a juvenile deception (probably apocryphal) that teenage girls warn each other about. Beware of boys who mouth the words "olive juice" when you ask if they love you; not only do they not, but they're cowards who won't admit it. leave a comment --Robert Pardi
