Routine western fare has Rogers teaming up with Guizar, a Mexican Robin Hood, to put a stop to the crooked ways of McGraw. Lots of songs and lots of action in a script that slackens in believability, but manages to wade its way through. Rogers gave up his fancy outfit for this one, instead
wearing casual denims, the customary garb of the real West. The songs are mostly traditional western ballads, but Guizar sings an excerpt from "Una Furtiva Lagrima" from Gaetano Donizetti's opera
l'Elisire d'Amore.
