Hodges is an old-time hansom driver who refuses to modernize by giving up his horse for a motorized taxicab. When his daughter Lorimer falls for one of the hated taxi drivers, her would-be suitor must pose as a plumber in order to please Hodges. Though dated, this retains some moments of charm, thanks to Hodges' wonderful characterization. leave a comment
