District Attorney Williams prosecutes Indian chief de Corsia on a murder charge, gets a conviction, and then arranges the chief's escape when he discovers de Corsia is innocent. The real guilty part is evil railway agent Richards, who has been trying to start an Indian war to clear land
for his railroad. The climax features Williams, with guns drawn, forcing a federal judge to reopen the case. Fairly bizarre.
