Typical B western, with cavalryman Cameron overseeing Black Hills gold miners to assure that Indian treaties are kept. Head man Tucker cares little for Native Americans, which makes it difficult for Cameron to carry out his duties. Eventually a war breaks out, with the Indians respectfully
sparing only Cameron's life. Characterizations are short in this stereotypical action piece, but the battle scenes are well handled. Songs: "Oh, Susanna!" "Is Someone Lonely?" and "The Regular Army, Oh" (Ed Harrigan, Jack Elliott).
