Amusing comedy starring Hay as a problem son whose family finds him a job as stationmaster of an obscure railway post in Ireland where no trains stop. On his arrival, Hay finds only a doddering old clerk and an overweight young porter as his charges. Hay sets about revitalizing the premises. After sprucing up the station, he books a train to transport the local soccer team. When the train vanishes, Hay hunts it down and discovers it is being used by gun smugglers.
