Bobby Shelton (Ted Wass) is a struggling musician whose wife (Roxanne Hart) is pregnant. He is having a tough time making ends meet. When he states aloud the familiar plea that he would sell his soul to the Devil, up pops Satan (George Burns) and a deal is struck. Shelton quickly becomes an
enormously successful musician, but he finds life at the top empty. It's a hoary story, but Burns lends a new twist with his slick portrayal. It's light, mostly amusing, and better than the second Burns-God film, but not as good as the first.
