Boyd stars as an honest cop who has trouble living with the fact that his father, Torrence, is a gangster. The old man redeems himself, however, when he kills the evil head of the gang. Boyd vows to quit the force to avoid any more embarrassment, but, when duty calls, he answers. The skillful directorial touch of former screen and gag writer Garnett keeps the film engrossing throughout. leave a comment
