Director Robert Altman based this alleged comedy on a short story in that bastion of sophomoric humor, National Lampoon. Altman's film version is a overlong bore featuring a parade of pointless celebrity cameos; despite its distinguished director, this is no better or worse than most of the teenage comedies of its period.
