Boring is the word for this soap-sudsy melodrama about a nine-year-old child, Carroll, who is taken away by a secretary, Warrick, in an effort to reunite the child's separated parents. The film turns into one big chase, using outdated slapstick gags. However, O'Brien and Arden work well
as the competitive reporters, and the wisecracking comedienne provides one of the picture's best moments when she adopts the guise of a post-bellum belle.
