A crime drama with a twist of romance. When Eilers' brother is killed in a shoot-out, she is told by a low-life friend of his that the policeman they fought killed her brother in cold blood. Eilers believes the crook but starts falling for the wounded policeman, who finds out she is the dead boy's sister.
