Proval plays a good-hearted mentally retarded man with the mind of a 10-year-old. To help his mother he works delivering groceries while his older brother, Andronica (also the film's writer), protects him from the neighborhood bullies. Proval often fantasizes about being Superman and marrying Feldshuh, who works in a nearby bakery. Much of the story concerns his brother, who has to balance his macho image with a real love for his younger brother. Proval's Superman fantasy comes to life when he rescues a child from a burning building. Simple but touching story. leave a comment
