Giustini is hired by Richardson and wife Leighton to be their new chauffeur. Leighton is a writer, and she uses the Italian chauffeur as the model for the romantic lead in her new novel. Giustini reads the manuscript and gets the idea that his employer is in love with him. This turns out to be false and causes many humorous situations.
