A strange, offbeat piece of filmmaking that doesn't quite gel in its absurdist intentions. Adam Beckett (Zach Galligan) is an artist in a New York City of the future, ruled by the Port Authority that now regulates those who entertain the creative muse. Adam is turned down in his artistic pursuits and is instead assigned to the Holland Tunnel as a traffic director. He meets Mara Hofmeier (Apollonia van Ravenstein) and engages in a brief affair with her, then she introduces him to the real art world of the New York underground.
