An early comedy originally made in 1920 as a silent by MGM, and then remade in 1941 with Bob Hope as the star. This time Dix is the man who takes a bet for $10,000 that he cannot go for 24 hours without telling a lie. The money has been put up by his fiancee Hall, because if he wins and
doubles the money, her father Churchill will double the amount again. Churchill also happens to be in on one-third of the bet himself, further complicating matters. Features Dix in his first talking film.
