In the Hallmark Channel presentation Though None Go with Me (premiering Saturday at 9 pm/ET), Charlie's onetime Angel disappears behind old-age makeup to play Elizabeth Leroy Bishop, a woman who relates stories from her colorful and oft-times turbulent life — Amy Grabow plays Elizabeth as a young woman — to a grandchild. As anyone who has seen Ladd on Las Vegas knows, it must have taken a lot of powder to make this heavenly beauty look anything but robust.

Canadian transplant Ryan Gosling is an ex-Mickey Mouse Club member — just like Britney, Justin and Christina — who's quite the up-and-comer in Hollywood. Moviegoers best know the 23-year-old as a psycho teen in 2002's Murder by Numbers with Sandra Bullock (whom he dated offscreen). He's also been evil in The United States of Leland and Showtime's The Believer. To our surprise, he's now playing a (non-homicidal) hopeless romantic in The Notebook. There's a switch!

As Lindsay Lohan's high-school rival in Mean Girls, Rachel McAdams was truly a nasty beeyatch. Fortunately, the 27-year-old Canadian transplant is no Regina George offscreen. Actually, she's a total sweetheart, and her softer side definitely shows in The Notebook (due out in theaters Friday).
Based on the gooey bestseller by Nicholas Sparks, Notebook tells the tale of a couple (McAdams and Ryan Gosling) torn apart by World War II, then romantically reunited years later. "I'm a sucker in every way when it's all about love and soul mates," McAdams says. "I think you can fall in love with more than one person, but I don't know yet for sure. I'm not gonna not believe in soul mates."
