Pointless remake of the 1936 Patch and McNaughton comedy about a pair of cockney garbagemen who suddenly find themselves in possession of a priceless book. This time out lesser talents Owen and Dwyer play the garbagemen, and the plot sees the evil sister of the man who discarded the book
(Pollock) trying every nasty trick she can think of to regain possession. Eventually Owen and Dwyer manage to sell the book to a collector who appreciates its true worth. For some reason director Maclean Rogers, who had also directed the first version, remade his own movie--and badly at that.
