Quillan plays the head of a small-time vaudeville family that suddenly inherits a southern plantation. They head for the hills, only to find themselves caught up in the midst of a long-running hillbilly feud. Roberts is excellent as the head of one of the feuding clans. Though billed as a
talkie, the film contained dialog only in its last five minutes. The comedy is well handled throughout, and while the sound seems to be an afterthought by the producers, its brief addition is put to good use. Unfortunately, Roberts died shortly before the film's release.
