NOBODY'S FOOL is yet another entry in the increasingly popular genre of quirky Americana. The thread that all of these films have in common is a mid-American locale that seems to be populated with characters who have wandered in from a Federico Fellini film. In NOBODY'S FOOL, Cassie (Rosanne Arquette) is a withdrawn young woman who had an illegitimate baby.
